For the exact whereabouts of Penbryn Mynach Holiday Cottage please click through to the location page.
This page contains just a few links to ordnance survey mapping of the surrounding area to Barmouth. In the Bing and OS options you can rescale and move around to plan your activities. In the Bing option be sure to click (towards the top right of page) for the full screen. In the OS option click the “Expand” arrows in the top right hand corner to maximise the amount of map showing. And the escape button to get back to your normal browser.
Finally, another option with lots of useful route maps is ViewRanger.
A collection of online maps of the Barmouth area over the years. can be found in the National Library of Scotland. It’s quite hard to use; follow the instructions carefully and it is ultimately rewarding. Extremely high quality and a wealth of history. My favourites are the rainfall chart for the UK dating back 100 years and the late 19th century ones showing the old Bryn Mynach.
